September 25, 2017- Monday-#489 Daily Morning Bible Reading and Meditation- Psalm 32 KJV
***Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.***
[1] Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.
[2] Blessed is the man unto whom the Lord imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile.
[3] When I kept silence, my bones waxed old through my roaring all the day long.
[4] For day and night thy hand was heavy upon me: my moisture is turned into the drought of summer. Selah.
[5] I acknowledged my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the Lord ; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah.
[6] For this shall every one that is godly pray unto thee in a time when thou mayest be found: surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come nigh unto him.
[7] Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah.
[11] Be glad in the Lord , and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart.
Words to ponder for today
Blessed is He Whose Transgression is forgiven
The Psalmist wrote this psalm for every bible readers to know the state and the feelings of being forgiven. Being forgiven is a great and wonderful moment which is cause by freedom from shame, sorrow and guilt.
When we sinned against a person whom we love, respect and honor, we feel that great sense of unrest. We cannot sleep: our appetite for food is affected, our anxieties, worries and fears overwhelmed us, that even our body cannot respond energetically to our daily activities, as if we are carrying a great weight of heaviness.
As all human creation were created in the image and likeness of GOD, His sinless nature as well as His law is normally and intricately imbued in our beings. That the first man, after he had fallen to sin, hide himself from the presence of GOD, because he is ashamed of his nakedness.
Genesis 3:9-10 KJV
[9] And the Lord God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?
[10] And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.
It is of a truth that anxieties, worries, fears and all thoughts that gives heaviness of the heart is cause by sinning. Whether one is aware or not, the conscience pricks human heart by reason of sins. It is such a great relief to know that there is The Great Someone who forgives all sin. But to know Him is a question of choices.
One cannot work his way to achieve forgiveness. All of man's attempt to clear himself of guilt sorrow and shame, fails. Confessing to a more religious and "holy" person is also not the right way to obtain forgiveness; for you can only tell him what you want to tell him, to make you feel better. But that is only for a moment. The heaviness of heart stays and remain.
Turning to GOD is the only right choice. It is ONLY The LORD GOD who is able to totally forgive and free us from the burden of sin. True repentant heart come in prayers and seek GOD's forgiveness. It is a process of: Firstly, Admitting to ourselves we have sinned. Romans 3:10,23
Secondly, Believing GOD's way of forgiveness is Only through the blood of His Beloved Son JESUS CHRIST. Romans 5:8-12
Thirdly, Calling and casting all our anxieties, guilt, sorrow and shame even all our cares and concerns , upon JESUS CHRIST, who had lived and walked in this world, loved us, but was rejected and crucified, died, buried and rose up again the third day and is now seated on the right Hand of GOD; to HIM ONLY is the way a person can obtain forgiveness.
Acts 2:38, Romans 6:23
It is only then, that a person can be free from the bondage of guilt, sorrow and shame.
Then, after we have undergone this process, we can also testify and sing this psalm of how blessed is the man whose transgression is forgiven. Because we have experienced being forgiven by GOD, we experienced our prayers being answered. We experienced the Greatness and Mighty works of GOD in our lives as we walk with Christ day and night. We experienced the joy that the world can never give us to satisfy our hearts.
We experienced the tremendous blessings of peace and the unfailing love of GOD; for we are made righteous in His sight and had imputed not our iniquities.
Let all His saints shout for joy and be glad as we have receives forgiveness and adopted us together with His Beloved Son JESUS CHRIST.
[11] Be glad in the Lord , and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart.
Blessed be The Name of our GOD and our LORD JESUS CHRIST!
Good morning!
Psalm 32:1-11 KJV
Selah. [8] I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye. [9] Be ye not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding: whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle, lest they come near unto thee. [10] Many sorrows shall be to the wicked: but he that trusteth in the Lord , mercy shall compass him about. [11] Be glad in the Lord , and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart.
