September 26, 2017-Tuesday-#490 Daily Morning Bible Reading and Meditation- Psalm 33 KJV
***Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD ; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.***
[1] Rejoice in the Lord , O ye righteous: for praise is comely for the upright.
[2] Praise the Lord with harp: sing unto him with the psaltery and an instrument of ten strings.
[3] Sing unto him a new song; play skilfully with a loud noise.
[4] For the word of the Lord is right; and all his works are done in truth.
[5] He loveth righteousness and judgment: the earth is full of the goodness of the Lord .
[6] By the word of the Lord were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth.
[7] He gathereth the waters of the sea together as an heap: he layeth up the depth in storehouses.
[8] Let all the earth fear the Lord : let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him.
[9] For he spake, and it was done ; he commanded, and it stood fast.
[10] The Lord bringeth the counsel of the heathen to nought: he maketh the devices of the people of none effect.
[11] The counsel of the Lord standeth for ever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations.
[12] Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord ; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.
Words to ponder for today:
Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD
The Psalmist started his song with encouragement addressed to all the upright in heart.
Upright are them whose delight is worshipping GOD, learned, lived and love the truth about HIM, consciously, confidently and continually relying upon the power of GOD their LORD, so much the more, taught, trusting and testifying the mercy, compassion and forgiveness through the grace GOD has given to them.
Truly, what he had sang here is of the truth:
[16] There is no king saved by the multitude of an host: a mighty man is not delivered by much strength. [17] An horse is a vain thing for safety: neither shall he deliver any by his great strength.
It is only The LORD and none else but HIM who keep an eye for the righteous. He consider our weaknesses. He strengthen us when we are heavily burdened with cares. We did not see Him; nonetheless, only by the power of His words, when we hear, listen, believe and obey, we can do more than we can; we can be more than conquerors.
It is what Apostle Paul has written:
Romans 8:31-32,35-39 KJV
[31] What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
[32] He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
[35] Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
[36] As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. [37] Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
[38] For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
[39] Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Fatefully, those whose trust is in their treasures, whose stronghold are on their strength and sanity, and putting their hearts, mind and souls upon the power of their possession, they will meet their vain end which is their destruction.
For GOD our LORD recompense every thoughts, words and actions according to their deeds.
To them whose delight is to walk according to His will, His eyes are upon them. Their praising and rejoicing in Him, He is well pleased, and gives reward to them that meekly, humbly and diligently seek Him.
But to them who refuse to believe; who take pride of their possession, power and prestige, they will not scape the scrutinizing gaze of GOD. If they will not realize their miserable condition, if they will not repent from their prideful way of living, and if they will continue to reject The LORD and would not come to receive GOD's plan of salvation through His Son JESUS CHRIST, they will end up in an everlasting regression.
Come now, come all!
Let all whose hope in The LORD rejoice in Him. Let all praises, glory and honor be given unto HIM. Let the fear of our GOD gives us the strength, that we may give HIM the best of our time, talents, treasures and testimonies.
[21] For our heart shall rejoice in him, because we have trusted in his holy name.
[22] Let thy mercy, O Lord , be upon us, according as we hope in thee.
Let us be a blessed nation whose God Is The LORD! Sing His Holy Name together, as He has given us faith, hope and charity.
Have blessed and wonderful day today!
Good morning!
Psalm 33:1-22 KJV
[1] Rejoice in the Lord , O ye righteous: for praise is comely for the upright. [2] Praise the Lord with harp: sing unto him with the psaltery and an instrument of ten strings. [3] Sing unto him a new song; play skilfully with a loud noise. [4] For the word of the Lord is right; and all his works are done in truth. [13] The Lord looketh from heaven; he beholdeth all the sons of men. [14] From the place of his habitation he looketh upon all the inhabitants of the earth. [15] He fashioneth their hearts alike; he considereth all their works. [16] There is no king saved by the multitude of an host: a mighty man is not delivered by much strength. [17] An horse is a vain thing for safety: neither shall he deliver any by his great strength. [18] Behold, the eye of the Lord is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy; [19] To deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine. [20] Our soul waiteth for the Lord : he is our help and our shield. [21] For our heart shall rejoice in him, because we have trusted in his holy name. [22] Let thy mercy, O Lord , be upon us, according as we hope in thee.
