The Rock That Is Higher Than I

***From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I.***

[1] Hear my cry, O God; attend unto my prayer. 

[2] From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I. 

[3] For thou hast been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy. 

[4] I will abide in thy tabernacle for ever: I will trust in the covert of thy wings. Selah. 

[5] For thou, O God, hast heard my vows: thou hast given me the heritage of those that fear thy name. 

[8] So will I sing praise unto thy name for ever, that I may daily perform my vows.

The Rock That is Higher Than I

The Psalmist in his lowest self esteem had drawn himself crying in prayer unto GOD of his refuge. He knew very well, that even in time he hadn't feel His presence, his GOD never closes His ears listening to his prayers. His wholehearted trust in GOD is a shelter and a strong tower from the raging attacked of his enemies. He knew that he is safe and secure under the covering of His wings, even in time his heart is overwhelmed with anxieties and fears; for the Rock that is higher than all of life's situation, is a sure shelter in times of trouble. 

GOD's Divine providential assurance which is in Christ Jesus is a Rock higher than I. It is higher than any genius intellect of human. If is much more stronger than any shield man can produce for himself. It is indeed an absolute security a wayfarers could ever have in times of a seem endless trudging. 

A tearful prayers of humbled and meek spirit is all we need to be secured by this Rock higher than anybody born in this earth. 

An Acceptance of one's depravity,

A Belief which is firmed and focussed on The LORD JESUS CHRIST, 

A Crying soul Calling for salvation through faith in His Name, 

And a Denying self centeredness, even own ideas of righteousness is all we need, 

To Enter into the ROCK which is Higher than I. 

This is how Apostle Paul taught us in his epistle:

Romans 10:8-11,13 KJV

[8] But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; 

[9] That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 

[10] For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 

[11] For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. 

[13] For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

From whom the foundation of your faith has been built? 

There should Only be One foundation; The LORD JESUS CHRIST, Him Only, Him Alone.

1 Corinthians 3:10-11 KJV

[10] According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon. 

[11] For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

Call, Cry and Cast all your cares upon Him, for He cares for you.
