Be Clothed With Righteousness

January 14, 2018-Sunday- #589 Daily Morning Bible Reading and Meditation- Psalm 132 KJV

***Let thy priests be clothed with righteousness; and let thy saints shout for joy.***

[1] Lord , remember David, and all his afflictions:

[2] How he sware unto the Lord , and vowed unto the mighty God of Jacob;

[3] Surely I will not come into the tabernacle of my house, nor go up into my bed;

[4] I will not give sleep to mine eyes, or slumber to mine eyelids,

[5] Until I find out a place for the Lord , an habitation for the mighty God of Jacob.

[7] We will go into his tabernacles: we will worship at his footstool.

[8] Arise, O Lord , into thy rest; thou, and the ark of thy strength.

[9] Let thy priests be clothed with righteousness; and let thy saints shout for joy.

Words to ponder for today:

Be Clothed With Righteousness

It was David’s ardent devotion to the GOD of Jacob, that prompted the author in this psalm how the man of GOD David, vowed not to sleep nor slumber until he find out a place for The LORD, where they will joyfully worship their GOD, Who have wrought great miracles and wonders in the life of David. From a shepherd boy to the second reigning king of Israel, we’ll beloved of GOD, blessed and obtain promise of eternal kingdom through his descendant JESUS CHRIST.
This devotion of David gave inspiration to whoever the writer of this Psalm; whether it be Solomon, or some faithful, godly men of their times, do not matter so much. One godly attitude herein was the humility of the author, not to take the credit on his own, but to give emphasis how The GOD of Israel blesses the man who became the apple of GOD’s eyes. And if this things happened to them in their times, it will also to them that fears him and whose trust was solidly established.

God blesses them who diligently seek Him. He blesses them who are steadfast and unmovable; them that pursue righteousness and joyful in serving GOD.
Them who are settled under the shadow of GOD’s wings are safely secured and confident. They find contentment in whatever things they have, yet they will not settle for less. They will pursue day and night to please GOD who is the source of all blessings.

“[9] Let thy priests be clothed with righteousness; and let thy saints shout for joy.”

This does not not happened by chance. It is a choice of continual pursuit to please GOD Who bestows righteousness unto them that seek Him; Who is the source of dauntless joy that  overflows in the midst of divers trials, testings and tribulations.

Let all the priest of GOD be clothed with righteousness and His saints shouts for joy. For if this have been done to King David and his faithful men, this must be to us ward who have not seen Nor hears GOD speaking, yet believed.
As The LORD JESUS CHRIST have spoken to His disciple Thomas the Doubter:
John 20:29 KJV
[29] Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.

Let our faith in GOD manifest in our daily living.

Have a blessed day ahead!

Psalm 132:2-18 KJV
[2] How he sware unto the Lord , and vowed unto the mighty God of Jacob; [3] Surely I will not come into the tabernacle of my house, nor go up into my bed; [4] I will not give sleep to mine eyes, or slumber to mine eyelids, [5] Until I find out a place for the Lord , an habitation for the mighty God of Jacob. [6] Lo, we heard of it at Ephratah: we found it in the fields of the wood. [7] We will go into his tabernacles: we will worship at his footstool. [8] Arise, O Lord , into thy rest; thou, and the ark of thy strength. [9] Let thy priests be clothed with righteousness; and let thy saints shout for joy. [10] For thy servant David's sake turn not away the face of thine anointed. [11] The Lord hath sworn in truth unto David; he will not turn from it; Of the fruit of thy body will I set upon thy throne. [12] If thy children will keep my covenant and my testimony that I shall teach them, their children shall also sit upon thy throne for evermore. [13] For the Lord hath chosen Zion; he hath desired it for his habitation. [14] This is my rest for ever: here will I dwell; for I have desired it. [15] I will abundantly bless her provision: I will satisfy her poor with bread. [16] I will also clothe her priests with salvation: and her saints shall shout aloud for joy. [17] There will I make the horn of David to bud: I have ordained a lamp for mine anointed. [18] His enemies will I clothe with shame: but upon himself shall his crown flourish.
