Thoughts  to ponder for today:

 In The Way Of Righteousness Is Life

Some golden rules we can meditate from the verses of this chapter, that,  if to be weighted and pondered; these are not a lot of nonsense; but full of commonsense.

1. Verse [1] Whoso loveth instruction loveth knowledge: but he that hateth reproof is brutish..

* Speaks about Heart’s condition
- love instruction or hate to be told, and be called brutish?

2. Verse  [2] A good man obtaineth favour of the Lord : but a man of wicked devices will he condemn.
[3] A man shall not be established by wickedness: but the root of the righteous shall not be moved.

* Speaks about Thoughts and Mind’s condition
- There is GOD. Whether you believe or not, does not matter. He is and always be GOD. He did not change.
So If you come to realized all the things you planned, painstakingly work hard for, and expect to give you a better end, yet comes to nought or without contentment; that success seems not complete,or you have no peace of mind,  then commune with your heart; you may not have GOD’s favor. And that you are not within His loving protection; that the devil is feasting to create a whirlwind, which one way or the other, destroy some of the things you love the most.

3. Verse [4] A virtuous woman is a crown to her husband: but she that maketh ashamed is as rottenness in his bones.
[5] The thoughts of the righteous are right: but the counsels of the wicked are deceit.
[6] The words of the wicked are to lie in wait for blood: but the mouth of the upright shall deliver them.
[7] The wicked are overthrown, and are not: but the house of the righteous shall stand.

* Speaks about Attitude
- Virtuous- , upright, morally excellent ,righteous, chaste, potent, efficacious, honorable, honest.

Antonyms: bad, dishonest, dishonorable, evil, evil-minded, immoral, indecent, sinful, unethical, unrighteous, wicked, wrong.

What kind of person, or wife are you to your husband? Are you becoming a crown to him or rottenness to his bone like cancer, that your husband doesn’t feel like staying at the house with you?
If The GOD of this bible I am reading is true, just and alive, then surely, He will recompense. Expect that good things are for them who virtuously live. Otherwise, expect being overthrown.

4.  [8] A man shall be commended according to his wisdom: but he that is of a perverse heart shall be despised.
[9] He that is despised, and hath a servant, is better than he that honoureth himself, and lacketh bread.
[10] A righteous man regardeth the life of his beast: but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel.
[11] He that tilleth his land shall be satisfied with bread: but he that followeth vain persons is void of understanding.
[12] The wicked desireth the net of evil men : but the root of the righteous yieldeth fruit .
[13] The wicked is snared by the transgression of his lips: but the just shall come out of trouble.
[14] A man shall be satisfied with good by the fruit of his mouth: and the recompence of a man's hands shall be rendered unto him.
[15] The way of a fool is right in his own eyes: but he that hearkeneth unto counsel is wise.

Speaks about character
- All this seven verses are interconnected with each other.
Let us take note of the verse 9: in my own perception this implies the writings in the book of James 2:18-20 KJV
[18] Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.
[19] Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.
[20] But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?
Those who speaks good things but cannot see in their own ways of living, who will believe? Even their good and fair speeches are nothing to them. Their words are unreliable. It is counted for them as their wickedness. And sooner or later,  they will fall in the net of evil doers.
But to them who speaks upfront, straightforward and frank, and see their words in their works, are the persons with integrity. They are more righteous than them who speaks a lot of good things but do otherwise. Them whose  works speaks louder than words are blessed by GOD and they do not suffer hungering, nor they borrow or beg for a living.

 5. Verses [16] A fool's wrath is presently known: but a prudent man covereth shame.
[17] He that speaketh truth sheweth forth righteousness: but a false witness deceit.
[18] There is that speaketh like the piercings of a sword: but the tongue of the wise is health.
[19] The lip of truth shall be established for ever: but a lying tongue is but for a moment.
[20] Deceit is in the heart of them that imagine evil: but to the counsellors of peace is joy.
[21] There shall no evil happen to the just: but the wicked shall be filled with mischief.
[22] Lying lips are abomination to the Lord : but they that deal truly are his delight.
[23] A prudent man concealeth knowledge: but the heart of fools proclaimeth foolishness.

* Speaks about manner of speaking

-There is these sayings which somehow soundly if properly taken and apply in every given situation:
“More talks, more mistakes
less talks, less mistakes,
no talk, no mistakes.”

Our mouth and tongue are created by GOD to speak. If it is use to tell the truth, then it is good for the nourishment of one’s soul. But if it is use to harm others by speaking fierce and curse words, even speaking lies to deceive, then it is evil. As it was written in v. 22, “Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord; but they that deal truly are His delight.” Surely, there is blessings  if GOD is delighted. But every vain words that has been spoken, it shall not go unpunished.
Nonetheless, a person. Is prudent if he concealed knowledge to himself, because not all are happy when one knows the way. Some are envious some are haughty and despise him. For knowledge is like a hidden wealth.  And if he tell that he find treasures to everyone whom he meet, then he is foolish; he is like telling them: “rob me!”
Hears this soldiers’ motto to be prudent: “TRUST not even The wall.”

6. [24] The hand of the diligent shall bear rule: but the slothful shall be under tribute.
[25] Heaviness in the heart of man maketh it stoop: but a good word maketh it glad.
[26] The righteous is more excellent than his neighbour: but the way of the wicked seduceth them. [27] The slothful man roasteth not that which he took in hunting: but the substance of a diligent man is precious.
[28] In the way of righteousness is life; and in the pathway thereof there is no death.

* Speaks about Action
- The diligent people are visible and mostly the front-liners, while the slothful are contented to be just the follower and always asking favor if not begging from the diligent and industrious. The diligent are not ashamed to work, nor they are not easily get tired. They see opportunity in every problem.
But the lazy, sluggard and slothful, they always hide and have many excuses for themselves. They see problems in every opportunity. Blessings and abundance are for the diligent and industrious, but miserably wanting, everyday curse and begging are for the slothful; they should renew their mind and consider the ants 🐜..

7.  [28] In the way of righteousness is life; and in the pathway thereof there is no death.

* Speaks about choice..

Righteousness are in:
1. Choosing to love instruction
2. Controlling thoughts and minds
3. Correcting the attitude
4. Conditioning uprightly character
5. Correctly practice sound speaking
6.  Cohabiting with Diligence and Industriousness
7. Coveting to always walk in the Way Of Righteousness

Be bless always and ever.

Have a pleasant day ahead!
